Helical compression springs

Helical Compression Springs are the most frequently used springs. The Japanese term “bane” originated from the word “hane” (spring), which means an elastic object. They are also called hatsujo, danki, and danjo in Japanese. On the other hand, the English word “spring” means, for example, “jump.”
Our company produces helical compression springs with a wire diameter of 0.2 to 12 mm using the latest streamlined manufacturing facilities. Typical products from Murata Spring are valve springs for engines and damper springs for clutches manufactured using proprietary techniques.

Valve springs are mounted in the engine—the “heart” of the automobile. Murata Spring manufactures highly reliable springs that are highly resistant to severe running conditions featuring excellent durability, settling resistance, and heat resistance by incorporating many special treatments in the manufacturing process. Valve springs from Murata Spring occupy a Japanese domestic market share of almost 100% in engines for general trucks (4 tons or more), thanks to the excellent quality of our products.

Clutches transmit automotive engine power to the tires. Damper springs ensure a comfortable ride by mitigating the severe environment inside the clutch. Murata Spring manufactures highly reliable springs that feature excellent durability, settling resistance, and heat resistance by incorporating many types of special treatments in the manufacturing process.
